PRIYOUM TALUKDAR

Born on September 26, 1984, in Barpeta Road, Assam, Talukdar's artistic journey began with a solid academic foundation. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Graphic Arts from Kokrajhar Music & Fine Arts College in 2008, followed by a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Printmaking from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya in 2010. These formative years provided him with a deep understanding of graphic arts and print techniques, which would shape his distinctive style.

Talukdar is best known for his mastery of woodcut, a traditional printmaking technique that he uses in unique and expressive ways.
