Bikash Acharjee

Bikash's works are heavily influenced by nature and his environment. As he puts it himself 'Nature is the integral part of life. Nature has been my muse, my inspiration for my creation'

His thoughts and works reflect semi-abstract forms on canvas. In this journey, he has tried to go with natural thought (Free flowing thoughts not with any pre-conceived notions). The concept of his art work originates widely from mother nature even though sometimes he finds his pre-conceived ideas creating hindrance in the path of creativity.

Creations reflected on his canvas, are a thorough process involving time, desire, experience of handling materials, thoughts, concept (Nature) and himself. His journey has been aided by meditation which has helped him achieve depth and calmness in his work.
