Born in 1985, Amit Mahadev Dombre is a Warli artist. His developed artistic language is distinct in its use of very fine brush strokes in dense assemblages.

Dombre’s works have been featured by numerous key galleries and museums such as Tarq, Mumbai. His paintings have been exhibited at A Visual Journey Through Rural Heritage: An Exhibition of Folk and Tribal Art of India at Art Konsult, New Delhi, 2018; Vernacular in the Contemporary: Part Two: Working Consciously and Working Reflectively at Devi Art Foundation, Delhi in 2011; and The Creator and His World: Classical and Contemporary Living Traditions of India at Arts of the Earth, New Delhi in 2023.
